You've found Tomato Graphics, so the first step in finding both brilliant graphic design and excellent customer service is done. Now what?

Why Tomato Graphics?
There are many reasons to work with TG! I'm professional, responsive, fun and easy to work with, and always meet or beat my deadlines. Please see my feedback for a sense of my professional skills and integrity. I'm good at taking direction and asking questions to ensure development of the best final product. My goal is to make you look great.

When looking at the Tomato Graphics design portfolio keep in mind that each project was designed for a specific audience so does not demonstrate how your project will look. Your products will be innovative and unique to your needs and audience. Head to my portfolio pages for an overview of my work. Like what you see? Call or email me to discuss your project.

Start by contacting me via phone or email to tell me about your project in need of a designer. I'll get back to you with a lot of questions: Who, What, When, Where, and How. Who's your audience? What's your vision for the project? When do you need it? Some questions you'll have an answer for, and some will require you to do a little homework. A list of Items required will be made to help you get organized. Once I have the information I need, I'll get back to you to discuss your project in detail.

What will it cost?
Depends on the project. It's helpful for both of us if you start your project by establishing a budget. If I believe I can stay within it, I'll proceed with a bid. If it looks as though costs will exceed your budget, I''ll let you know that, too, then will give you some creative options.

Costs are based on a number of things. In addition to design costs, there are art direction, production and project management costs. Paper, printing, and shipping also change the bottom line. No one likes unpleasant surprises, so I'll keep you apprised of the costs at all times.

Agreement and Terms
Once I have a clear idea of the project, I'll draw up an agreement outlining the costs and terms of your project for your approval, deposit, and signature, then we can move forward.

Good graphic design is both hard work and a team effort. You've hired Tomato Graphics to solve problems. My goal is to find creative ways to market your business or event.

You'll need to work closely with me and make decisions in a timely manner. Clear communication is essential for successful results: marketing ideas and products that successfully tell, or sell, your story.

You'll be sent concept(s) to review, then will get back to me with feedback, revision requests, and any comments or questions you have. Don't be shy! After we discuss your comments, I'll return to your project, do revisions and changes, and resend it for the next round of review. Of course, your final approval will be required before the files go to print, keeping you in the loop from start to finsh.

I also need…
Most bids include any and all of the following: consultation, file management, design, typesetting, minor copy writing/editing, proofs, revisions, and formatting of final file for print. I offer a range of additional services, including copywriting, editing, self-publishing support, and more. For a listing, see the menu on the Services page.

If your project requires additional expertise, I will call on my extensive network of talent to ensure you get what you need.

Start the press:
Many of my clients are located at a distance from my studio, so I'm experienced and comfortable working via phone, email, FTP and PDF. We can work with my printers, or yours. Either way, I'll communicate with them to ensure they have what they need from us to get your job ready for the press.

Green design & print options
We've got an entire page covering this topic, so look at the green graphics page when you're ready. From making paper choices to combining layouts to working with green printers, we'll work to get as green as you like.

Without getting into too much production-speak, print files require a different file resolution and color mode than do web files. I can use your web content and color palette, and can format documents so they coordinate, or compliment, your site. Depending on the source files you have available, I'll let you know what I can do to get your files print-ready.

What does this mean if you want both print media and web graphics? I'll create your print graphics first, then optimize them for web use.
